Our terms and conditions
1. Purpose
The Equiwork website provides a platform that connects employers and workers in the equestrian sector for one-off or regular assignments.
The platform facilitates contact, job posting, profile management, and mission organization.
However, it does not take part in the direct payment of workers, which is carried out outside the platform between the parties involved.
2. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS)
Using Equiwork’s services implies full and unconditional acceptance of these TCS.
By checking the appropriate box during registration or when paying service fees, the user acknowledges having read and fully accepted the TCS.
3. Access and Registration
Access to services requires creating a user account (employer or worker).
The user agrees to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
Certain features may be restricted or subject to a fee depending on the user’s status or actions on the platform.
4. Platform Operation and Service Fees
4.1 Connection
Equiwork allows employers to post missions and workers to offer their services.
Once both parties agree on the terms of a mission, mutual validation is performed through the platform.
4.2 Service Fees
Equiwork charges service fees to the employer after mutual validation and before the mission begins.
These fees represent the platform’s compensation for access to its infrastructure, tools, and matchmaking services.
Service fee schedule:
10% of the agreed mission amount
Minimum €10
For missions exceeding €500, fees are reduced to 8%
Examples:
€50 mission → fee = €10 (minimum)
€300 mission → fee = €30 (10%)
€600 mission → fee = €48 (8%)
Fees remain due even if the mission is canceled by one of the parties after validation, except in exceptional cases handled individually.
4.3 Worker Payment
The platform does not handle worker payments.
Employers are responsible for paying workers directly according to the agreed terms (amount, timing, payment method, etc.).
Equiwork does not intervene in or guarantee any payments between the parties.
5. Pricing and Payment Methods
Service fees are payable in euros (€) via the following methods:
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
PayPal
Apple Pay
Payment is required immediately after mission validation.
An invoice can be issued upon request.
Prices may be changed at any time; fees will be charged based on the rate in effect at the time of the order.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Due to the nature of the services (immediate matchmaking and validation), the right of withdrawal does not apply once the service fees have been paid.
The user expressly acknowledges and agrees to waive their right of withdrawal in accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
7. User Obligations
Users agree to:
Provide truthful and accurate information
Comply with applicable laws (e.g. labor law, taxation, etc.)
Refrain from posting illegal, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
Use the platform in a professional and respectful manner
Equiwork reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that fails to comply with these rules.
8. Liability
Equiwork acts solely as a technical intermediary. It does not guarantee:
The quality, completion, or payment of missions
The solvency or reliability of users
The proper conduct of interactions outside the platform
Equiwork is not liable for disputes between employers and workers but may intervene as a mediator in exceptional cases.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Equiwork website (texts, images, logo, structure, etc.) is protected by copyright.
Any reproduction or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
10. Personal Data
Equiwork processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
Users may access, correct, or delete their data at any time by contacting: contact@equiwork.be

Failing that, jurisdiction shall lie with the courts where the publisher’s registered office is located, unless otherwise required by law.
